Falling Apple
by Ilya Danshin, 1998
ABOUT
“Falling Apple” is a nature painting that’s certainly one that you should hang on your wall. This oil on canvas is really easy on the eyes - its light colors make this heavenly view a beautiful one. In this painting, you can see stars in the sky. Twinkling with all their might, the stars shine brightly in the dark sky, illuminating the world below it. You can somehow make out the silhouette of the tall mountains in the distance as an apple falls from the tree. It turns out that a lot of apples have already fallen from the ground. A branch of the apple tree can be seen on the right side of this painting. You hope that these apples have someplace else to go to even after they’ve fallen.
