I Saw an Angel
by Ilya Danshin, 2006
ABOUT
This oil on canvas painting has a very supernatural vibe attached to it. The gust of wind that is pretty obvious was able to create a cloud of obscurity that can leave the viewer occupied with many thoughts. The wingless angel walks in the middle of nowhere, looking like the angel of death. Over the mountainside, where two leafless trees stood firmly on the ground, the eerie ambiance is dominating in the entire painting. Its appeal is mystifying. It is what makes it noticeable when used as a display inside the home. The muted colors used will complement any room decoration. Apart from its, arresting appearance, this painting will surely provide a quiet and intriguing feel to any room inside one’s home.
