November
by Ilya Danshin, 2007
ABOUT
The medium used for this painting is oil on canvas. This beautiful piece is inspired by the November season. The vivid image created looks somewhat similar to an abstract. The hazy appearance seem to be an ode to the usual seasonal dilemma during this time of the year. The windy field shows the crops moving haphazardly into different directions. You can feel the strong winds just by looking at this image. That one pole looks like it might fall to the ground any minute. This winter painting is simple, but it does make you feel. What makes it a good piece to have at home is its versatility of design. Some paintings only look good on living rooms, while others will stand out in a hallway.
