Still Waiting
by Evgeny Lushpin, 2012
ABOUT
It is already twilight. Everyone is probably home by that time. As you can see in the painting, only the operator and two people are inside the streetcar, but nobody is at the waiting area. On some level, this painting seem to emit a feel of somnolence, but the operator does not seem to mind. The beauty of the sky and the luscious trees appears to make sufficient company. If you will draw one defining trait this painting seem to portray, it will be patience. The ability to just sit there and just be can be too much too many. It is natural to be inspired by this portrait. You can use it as a decorative piece at home or at your office.
