Waiting for Santa
by Evgeny Lushpin, 2011
ABOUT
Christmas Eve is certainly one of the best times of the year. It's highly anticipated by people of all ages and it's a great time to have the whole family together. This winter painting shows you a quaint-looking house with a lot of trees and bushes surrounding it. Everything is covered in snow. The walkway to the house has been somewhat cleared earlier in the day and you can see footprints heading towards the door. A lamp post is placed near the bushes to provide guidance and illuminate the way in the cold, winter night. There's also a lamp up in the tree adding more light to the path. Through the window, you can see people hanging around in the dining area and a child waits patiently for Santa to come with presents.
