ABOUT

It’s a fine winter’s evening in Bruges, Belgium. The snow covering almost all of the surroundings. This winter painting takes you to a quiet part of Bruges, where houses fall in line along the city’s canal. You can see the sky overhead as you witness it changing colors. You can tell that the sun is about to set due to the sunlight slowly disappearing into the distance and the sky getting darker by the minute. The people inside the buildings along the canal turn their lights on. Families gather at the dining table, enjoying the feast in front of them. You can just imagine how the canal’s water must be as you see most parts have been covered in snow and ice. The lamppost guides travelers toward the bridge over the water, helping them navigate through the winter evening.
