Plants Care Taker
by Yulia Jeltuhin, 2014
ABOUT
Flowers play a significant role in our environment and in our lives. Whenever we see flowers bloom, we unconsciously hope that they don’t wither away with time. “Plants Care Taker” is an original oil on canvas painting that reflects a person’s longing to take care of the nature around us. In the painting, you can see the cloudy sky and a man on stilts, standing tall and proud, wearing a yellowish green costume and orange hair. He has a top hat that greatly complements his look. He walks along the street as he waters the plants on the building’s wall. The flower pots are filled with gorgeous little flowers. The man’s effort to walk on stilts in order to reach the hard-to-reach flowerpots shows us that we can all take care of nature even in our small ways.
